Minister Charles B. Jackson, II

Minister Charles Bradford Jackson, II was born in Queens, New York on the 4th of January in 1959. Raised in his early years by his grandparents in Florence, South Carolina, Charles is a product of the African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child.” It took aunts, uncles, cousins, and saints of the village of Florence to help lay the foundation of God’s Salvation for the Christian Ministry for Charles.

Upon giving his life back to the Lord on Valentine’s Day weekend in 1994; Minister Jackson made a visit to the Antioch Baptist Church in Corona. After much prayer Minister Jackson joined Antioch on the 1st of December of the same year by way of Christian experience. At Antioch, he renewed his vow to the call to the Gospel ministry and was licensed in April of 1995 by Pastor Marvin J. Bentley. He is a graduate of the College of New Rochelle securing a Bachelor of Arts and earned his Master of Divinity degree from the Theological School of Drew University.

Under Pastor Bentley’s unique leadership as a 21st century mentor, Minister Jackson is seriously at work honing all of his skills, talent, and experiences as he is led by the Lord. Presently, Minister Jackson is on staff at the Antioch Baptist Church, working with the Male Ministry, loving his job in the church just as much as he loves the idea of Brothers being united. Minister Jackson is fiercely at work with the men of Antioch with a host of activities, ideas, and unity backing the vision of Pastor Bentley.

Not one for words, Minister Jackson simply stands in awe of the grace and compassion of God freely given to him. His favorite quote, “He woke me up this morning” to be among the chosen, to be a member of the Universal Church. Minister Jackson views this is as a chance to give back to the Lord, to his church family, to his community, and wherever the Almighty God leads him. Living in today’s troubling times, Minister Jackson’s goal is to walk with Jesus and maintain a life surrendered to the Lord one day at a time. He believes hope and healing can bring light and health to souls, building God’s Kingdom here on earth.
